Re: Need to replace 46 inch electric cooktop made by...
I'm in the same boat & can't find anything that will fit my existing 46"wide X 20.5" height Decor electric cooktop. Would love to know if anyone else has found something.

Normally, you remove burners and shrouds and then look for screws at the front that secure the top panel. When you lift that up, the ignitor and wires are visible.
When your Dacor cooktop is locked, there will be a red light lit above the Dacor emblem located under your cooktop controls.
If you see this light, pressing the Dacor emblem for three seconds will turn it off and unlock your range. Pressing it again for three seconds will again lock your range and turn the light back on.
Another fun thing about that Dacor emblem is that if one or more of your elements are lit, tapping it twice in quick succession will turn off all elements.
is this a smooth top? glass? if so gently scrape with a razor blade yes a razor blade. then buff with cerama bryte or comparable cleaner available @ walmart or home depot etc..
I have the exact same problem. Did you find any solutions?
