Need to intall ribbon in Epson LQ 1050 printer

1-when install your ribbon push it to fit its proper place,
2-make a proper distance between head and paper using Head adjuster lever .

Hello This condition of Dot Matrix printer only due to
1. Bad ribbon cartridge (25%) 2. faulty print head (75%)
First replace your ribbon cartridge and try printing, if not OK then you have to replace the print head.

Replace head or take to service for replacing some needle at head.

what type of operating system are you using?, if so pls try to update your driver. or install and reinstall that particular driver.

pls try to visit www.epson.com where you can find their latest updates on drivers

make sure the ribbon you use it is genuine epson ribbon. and also adjust the liver by keeping 4 point .

I am getting my text cut off at the bottom what could be the problem

$90 to $990 000 or do you mean the epson lq-1050 its discontinued, 200 bucks reconditioned.

Please read through these instructions first and then follow the steps below:

1. Please power the printer OFF.
2. Remove the printer cable from the back of the printer and remove all the paper as well.
3. Hold down the "FONT" and "TEAR OFF" buttons and turn the printer on.
4. Continue holding the "FONT" and "TEAR OFF" buttons down for five (5) seconds and then release both at the same time.
5. Power the printer OFF.
6. Reconnect the printer cable.
7. Reinstall paper and ensure the thickness selector is in the correct position and that the path selector is also correct.
If the situation persists, remove the ribbon and paper and slide the print head back and forth so that it makes contact on both sides forcefully enough to make a loud noise. Reload the ribbon and the paper and try your test again.

My LQ1050 is cutting off text at the bottom what could be the problem please help?
