Re: red light on power strip

Call Microsoft, this is usually a fault with the power adapter itself if it's still under warranty, you may be in luck Otherwise you need to resort to something like this "" Not recommended however

My power light turns yellow instead of red i have to hold thepower botten to make it red

With the Wii system, when you hit the power button, it goes into Standby mode. That is the yellow light. In standby mode, the system draws a little bit of power, and it will go into a ready to play state faster than when Off. Holding the power button FULLY powers off the Wii system, and that will give you the red light. Hope this helps!

My XBOX 360 power button does not come on but the power supply is on and looks like it is getting power but box will not come on.

When you say it will not pwer on do you mean nothing on the front panel lights up? No 2 red lights or 3 red lights? If the console itself will not turn on at all it sounds like there was either a voltage problem and a part of the Mobo was fried or the switch itself is broken. Try hitting the eject button, if the xbox powers on and the tray opens then you know it is the front switch. If nothing happens you have a very expensive paper weight unless you are still under warranty, in that case contact Microsoft customer service and get it sent in.

Remotes wont work light up but wont stay on ,hit

The red button, is a sync button and not a reset button. You can try resyncing your wii remotes to your wii follow these steps:

  1. Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it on.

  2. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up.

  3. Press and release the SYNC button on the inside of the SD Card compartment on the console. Press and release the SYNC button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote.

  4. When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).
You must have batteries in when pressing the red sync button on the wii remote, if your using the wii remote charger system, you must remove it and use batteries until this step is done

Hope this helps. Owen

My playstation has the light trun green yellow flashing red light

With your PS3 turned off, press and hold the Power button on the front of the PS3 for about 10 seconds (the system will beep as normal as it starts up but after 7-10 seconds it will beep again). The video settings should now be reverted. Doing this will also reset any theme settings. try this? seems to fix alot of issues.

Make sure that the power supply is cool loadTOCNode(2, 'whattotry'); The red light may indicate that the power supply is too hot or it has already overheated. If that is the case, you should let the power supply cool for several hours in a well-ventilated space. Turn off the Xbox 360 console and don't turn it back on while the power supply is cooling. This will allow the power supply sufficient time to cool. As soon as the power supply has cooled off, the power supply light will change from red to orange, and you can turn the console back on.

If the power supply light is still red after you have let the power supply unit cool in a well-ventilated space, the power supply unit may require replacement. You can contact Xbox Customer Support at ( for information about how to replace the power supply.

Make sure that the power supply is plugged in correctlyFor further details go to this link
