Question about Evenflo Express

Adjusting chest clip?

We bought our Evenflo Express secondhand, so it didn't come with a manual. When my almost-2-year-old son sits in the seat, the chest clip comes up rather high on him, almost to his neck. I can't seem to get it to go down any further because the adjustment mechanism is in the way on his right side. It doesn't seem safe but I don't know how to fix it. Can anyone help?

I don't think that's going to help though. I really need the top part of the belt, by the shoulder, to get longer, and it doesn't seem like it's made to do that. Do you have one of these seats? Mine was made in 2000.

OK, I'll give it a shot next time I have the seat here (it's currently installed in someone else's car). I'll let you know how it goes!

The belts usually adjust underneath the seat, have a look there.........

I had a similar seat but the adjustment for top lenght and then positioning of the buckle was done underneath the chair.......
By shortening the part going between the legs and lenghtening the part above the shoulders the buckle will move down.

Im looking for a seat cover for an evenflo exersaucer mega 25804416

I used this for my son who is now 3 years old and it kept him fully entertained. When he learned to walk he would stand outside it and play with the toys attached. It is not a bouncer but designed to rock as baby's foot should not be flay in the base but on toes. I never had safety problems and plan to have my second son 4mo use it soon.

Hi, how do i attach the belt clip that comes with the evenflo booster seat?

If it is the one that is on the end of a strap, at the end of the strap is a loop.
Feed the loop thru a small set of holes in the back of the seat. The seat should have 2 small, close to eachother, holes. It goes in one, out the other and then slide the clip thru the loop and pull it back tight.
The only other design I know of uses a screw to attach the belt, the clip is on, to to a nub with a hole in
it on the back of the car seat.
If by "clip" you mean the little bracket that looks like an "H" you thread the car's seat belt thru it, where the belt goes up to the highest point, and use the H clip to keep that part of the car's seat belt away from the child and car seat by weaving it behind the edge of the car seat.
Use Evenflo's site to download a free manual and it shows you how to do it. All you need is Model number and date of manufacture and it will give you your manual. Save it to your computer. Click this link.

How do you remove the cover and belts on an evenflo car seat with this number on the side 25801158?

Turn the booster seat around to the back and locate the metal splitter plate that the harness is attached to. Remove both harness straps from the splitter plate. Locate the TensionRight knob located on each side of the seat in the front by the baby’s foot area. Turn the TensionRight knob to the back as far as it will go to take up the slack on the splitter plate strap. Pull both harness straps through the seat back to the front of the seat. Remove the harness strap from both sides of the chest clip and from the buckle tongues. NOTE: Please leave the buckle tongues locked into the **** strap for storage. Remove the harness strap from the seat. NOTE: Reattach the chest clip to the harness strap so they don’t get lost. Turn the booster seat upside down and locate the metal harness anchor. Turn the metal anchor sideways and push it through the slot to the front of the seat.

Is it necessary to use the locking clip.

The locking clip is according to an USA standart that states that the car seat must not be oppend with one press so all american seats have the chest clip. the rational is that child cans open it.

in European standart it stated that it must be opened with one click so all Europien seats are without the chest clip. the rational is that in rescue situation child can be take out fast.
its up to you to decide what your prioreties are.
any way it is not advised to use the seat different then the manufacture specifications.

Evenflo discovery 5 infant car seat straps

Okay okay--do not do anything with the big pieces behind the babies back but the gold clips at the **** area..pop those out and shove that piece and the clip and the chest clip through the back of the strap hole--then reput the strap through the slot you wish then the gold pieces back through the bottom and of course pop the gold pieces back--again do not use the upper clips behind the back to do this :0)

Button to lay evenflo stroller down

I own two evenflo strollers- from the pictures I believe it's the same exact stroller. Mine don't have "buttons" to lay down the seat.. instead they have a "cord" like a belt in the back towards the top- you can let some out to lay the seat down- or else pull it tight and it will 'raise' the seat to a sitting position! The 'belt/rope" for adjusting has a D-ring on the end of it- so look for that towards the top center in the back (under the handle bar).
