Unable to use film adaptor

I would recommend to verify that the film adapter is being recognized by your software, depending on your software you should have some option for selecting either flatbed or film. Once you locate this option see if film selection is grayed out, if yes then there may be a hardware failure with the film adapter. Depending on where the film adapter is located on or within the scanner, if its on the scanner not within try disconnecting\reconnecting the film adapter cable for possible bad connection. You may also want to check to see if the film adapter lamp is coming on bright.
