Your amp must have a dedicated phono socket, otherwise you will need a magnetic cartridge pre-amp to hear it playing, via an aux socket on your amp.
The cartridge will have a make and number on it, put that into Google and it will find the stylus. If your cartridge is old or faulty. You can replace it with any other make you want. Most will fit the deck. With cartridges the more expensive it is the better the sound, generally unless it's just a well known brand or something just to be flashy!
Most are magnetic pickups.. the is usually two tiny screws holding the cartridge in place there may be nuts on the other end so be careful not to loose them.. You will need a real tiny screw driver . Be very careful as the leads going into the cartridge are fragile. Other types fit in a clip type bezel which is part of the head. If you can find the stylus for it , it would be better than removing the entire cartridge. If I can recall the cartridge was a magic filter type ,that may be hard to replace.
Every cartridge has a maker and model number. You find them and enter it in google and it should come up with both.
However you don't have to have the same make of cartridge. You just need to find one that fits. You do need to bear in mind however that some of the cartridges that use 78 rpm stylus sometimes are Ceramic cartridges. This means that they don't need a pre-amp for it to be the same level as say a tape deck. Many cartridges these days are Magnetic. This means that if your amp doesn't have a pre-amp for these built in, then getting one of these cartridges will mean a purchase of a magnetic cartridge pre-amp. Some of these magnetic types of cartridge have no ability to fit a 78 stylus. In others you can get a 78 stylus available separately.
For example the Stanton 500 has this ability. One I use too!
The reason you might want to get a magnetic cartridge is that they give better sound quality over the ceramic type - well on 33 and 45 anyway!
Hi, my advise to customers is to buy the best quality audio gear you can afford. If you tell me your budget I will suggest a couple of carts that match. Cheers John. Styluscity
All stylus are replacable, you need only look at the cartridge, it should have a numbers/letters on it which will tell you the type. Put it into Google and you should find a replacement stylus. Alternativly you can replace the whole cartridge, any will do as long as it fits and is a magnetic cartridge. Google image search will help there, just look for one that looks like the one fitted. In the end it's down to price vs quality - the more money the better the sound you will get.
The correct stylus will depend on which cartridge is fitted to your turntable - these can vary.
Makers name and model number should be printed on the cartridge.
Personally, however, I prefer to replace the whole cartridge not just the stylus for better quality sound.
The make is probably printed on the cartridge rather than the stylus but it could well be this one (ceramic)

Personally I prefer to change the whole cartridge rather than just the stylus for better sound quality. At least replace the cartridge every 2nd or 3rd needle change -
You don't specify the make of equipment you need a manual for but the best place will be the support pages of the website of the original manufacturer. If you need a manual for a record-player cartridge they usually come in the box.
There is nothing wrong with the black ink. Just run the head cleaning for better printing.
1. Go to printer and faxes 2. Right click your printer ( Epson Stylus Multifunction Printer/ Copier/ Scanner InkJet) 3. Click printing preferences 4. Click Maintenance Tab 5. Click Head Cleaning 6. Run head cleaning for 5 times then try printing.
you better have your printer check by a qualified printer tech thus avoiding any further damage to the printer the printer head is the most likely problem to
