I put in fresh new batteries (duracell AA) into my sony dsc p92 camera but after taking 5-10 photos it drains out.
It is about 2 years since I bought this camera and it used to work fine but lately I am having this problem.
Even while I am recording the movie - it stops recording by itself in the middle.
I don't know what is happening.
Let me know if there is a fix for this problem.

- I have the rechargeable batteries too with 2050 mAH capacity from duracell - still the problem remains - I don't know if the batteries have lost the power over several months due to recharging. I bought those batteries @ 5 months ago. Is there a way to know how good the batteries are?
try to switch to rechargeable Ni-MH batteries, i'm not sure it supposed to work properly with Alkaline, that's why Sony supplied battery charger and their Stamina batteries with this camera

sony cybershot camera will not recognize the batteries. I thing there is a piece missing on the compartment flap that you close once batteries are inserted
