My computer is an Eee Box 202 and it has a built-in wireless network card. I have just bought a mobile phone, an HTC Touch PRO which also has a wireless card build in.
I would like to go online with the mobile phone through the active internet connection on the computer but I can't set it up and I have very little knowlege of networking.
The computer's internet connection is mobile broadband if that makes any difference. So how do I set it up then? Thanks in advance for any help!

- Good point. I use Windows XP and Ubuntu 8.10. At the moment I'm concentrating on getting it to work under Windows but I welcome instructions for Ubuntu as well, thanks.

- Thanks for the help. I don't have bluetooth or a cable, I want to set up a wifi connection.
I have tried setting up an ad-hoc connection but I haven't got it working. The phone can see that the network is available but sits there saying "connecting" and never actually connects.
Since I don't know anything about networking, I'd really appreciate instructions on how to do this properly, thanks again!
for windows xp you man set up the connection via cable or bluetooth and ms active sync - the htc (windows mobile) is able to use the hosts network connection. you may also set up an ad-hoc wlan on you eee and turn on internet connection sharing for your mobile broadband connection. if you connect your eee to the ad-hoc wlan it should be able to access the internet

Umax 2200 usb scanner & Vistascan 3.55u in Windows XP Scanner installs to the default XP scanning software, but I have not been able to install the scanner so that it works with the Vistascan software. I much prefer Vistascan as it is much more user friendly & offers more flexibility. Any help would be appreciated.
