Malibu transformer i'm getting an E 1 error and my lights won't come on

SOURCE: I have a malibu transformer.

Bad news.
There must have been a short circuit inside unit that caused GFCI to trip.
Once the ML power pack malfunctions or shorts out, there are no fixes or repair parts.
ML series have 5 year limited warranty.

Good news:
If lights stay on, then work around problem by plugging power pack into cheap on-off timer.
