I CAN'T CONNECT MY SONY ERICSSON P990i TO INTERNET.

Check whether the usb driver is installed properly on your computer..
and the datacable software should be installed correctly..make sure there is no other problems with your connectivity cable

Id=734 error unable to get internet connection
I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
This error 734 may occur if either of the following conditions are true:

  1. Multi-link negotiation is turned on for the single-link connection.

  2. The dial-up connection security configuration is incorrectly configured to use the Require secured password setting.

You may refer to the below article and check if it helps.

Step 2:
You may try to run the Internet connection troubleshooter and check if it helps. Follow the below steps to perform Internet connection troubleshooter.

  2. Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the Control Panel.

  3. Click on View all on the left navigation pane.

  4. Click on Internet connection.

  5. Click on Advanced on the Internet connection dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).

  6. Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Internet connection troubleshooter.

while you installing your pc suite you have to install fully...
disconnect your phone and connect
or change the pc suite thant means search for latest pc suite...
uninstall and reinstall the pc suite
open the pc suite may be the connectivity can be shown there....
check the setting in the phone...

Do you not have Wi-Fi. Read Manual. You first have to see if your Corby is Connecting. Forgot Software programs until you do.

dear Sir,
I have the mobile handset samsung GM S 3310. I am usuing Aircel Pocket internet in this phone. Surfing net is not a problem from the handset , but unable to connect it to my laptop.
Before dial up, it gives :error 734 ..ppp links protocol terminated. Therefore I Can not connect pc to handset as the dial up connection is not established.

Error 734: PPP Link control protocol was terminated
hi dear, if you are facing the error 734 with n82 using nokia pc suite then i think the solution is delete the extra string in phone and modem option which is in control pannel. the path is control pannel>> phone and modem option>> modem>> select N82 USB modem then click on properties>> advanced tab>> Delete the commend. After that delete the modem settings in handset then connect. it works. just try this . . . . .
