hi there, it sounds like the screen has dead pixels to me. If it is under warranty, they will be happy to fix it for you. If not, then I recommend getting a new iPod touch.

your ipod has just gone crazy you can send it to your local geeksquad at bestbuy store and they will evaluate it and repair it for you.

you need to reset it, press the menu button and center button at the same time, and wait for it

that happens sometimes. whenever it happens, hold the power and home button until it turns off. then turn it back on

Your ipod might need to be repaired, the apple service assistant is on the bottom.

Might be a loose connection or other failing component I don't think there is no quick fix for this.
