I originally loaded and registered this on my Windows XP PC, unfortunately shortly afterwards the PC died! I now have a windows vista PC and am trying to reload my previous software, however,

Installation says successful, but when I click on Sibelius 5 icon message appears '' You cannot run for the first time, register or unregister Sibelius unless you are the computer administrator. Please log in as the computer administrator and try again. [After Sibelius is registered, any user account can use Sibelius.]

I originally registered the software by fax phone and have Key No., computer number, and reg no.

Please can you help?

- Hi. Many thanks for that, it's allowed me in but only problem is it says my registration number is wrong [It is the one I got from them!] and now says it hasn't been registered...do I need to do anything or will it be alright?

Hi. Try the steps in this web page:

In particular:
If you go to the actual sibelius.exe file in C:/Program Files/Sibelius
Software/Sibelius 5 can you set Run as Administrator in
Properties/Compatibility?

- As it is a new computer, you should re-register Sibelius within 15 days of installation. For more information on registering Sibelius, see:
