Question about HP Photosmart 2575 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Trying to scan something to then SAVE on my hard drive. When I press "scan to", the Scan Menue on the screen asks me to "select computer". When I press OK a "No Scan Options" message pops up, then screen reads "refer to documentation to troubleshoot." so I am unable to do the task. Thanks for any assistance.
The most common causes of this issue are 1: you do not have the software installed on your computer (or you need an updated version form the HP web-site) and/or 2: you are connecting to the printer over a network and your firewall is stopping the printer from accessing the HP software on your computer. A little more info would be helpful in diagnosing the problem; What Operating System is your computer running? Is your computer connected to the printer via USB or over a network? Do you have the latest HP software installed? Do you have more than one printer, scanner or all in one device connected to your computer? Has the printer always had this problem or has it worked before?
