You can connect your Samsung to your computer via USB, locate your music folder, drag it onto your computer and wait for the transfer to be completed. Next, connect your Alcatel One Touch via USB to your computer and drag the music from the music folder into your Alcatel Music folder.
If you do not have a Computer or laptop, then you could also send all your music via Bluetooth, which will take longer but it does the job.
Sync device with windows media player 11 and load all the songs on there and transfer, or use file and transfer wizard, or when phone is plugged in, go to start menu, my computer, and find drive with phone on it, double-click, and save or transfer files to a file of your choice on your pc like music file. Or download and use free program called bitpim from bitpim.org. or verizon's free program should work as well
Download the desktop software from another PC and you can find the desktop software for your Samsung SCH-U470 on the manufacturer's website.
Once your have completed that step, set up your data transfer again, retrieving songs from your device back to your PC (like drag and drop).
I would recommend (since your computer has crashed) using another PC that you can trust, downloading and transferring. This may seem a little inconvenient, but it is your only option at this point.
make sure your clicking the little botton on the bottom of your screen by the time it has a green arrow double click on that and then click stop after your done it should say device can now be successfully removed then remove it see if that works when not doing this you can erase or corrupt data
I had the same problem. I just called Verizon & they had me take the battery out of my phone & then put it back in, the music is working again. I'd say try that & if it doesn't work, call them & they'll help you out! Good luck!
Mac JUKE Solution ,I have 416 songs on my JUKE and here is how I did it. Plug your JUKE into your Mac ,turn it on , go to music on your JUKE ,scroll to <sync music> close your JUKE. Look on your desk top for <TELACHIPS> go to Applications then Utilities then Disc Utility. Open Disk Utility click on the <1.9 GB Samsung Drive Icon> select <partition> under format select <Mac OS extended Journaled> run the program . Now you have a Mac Drive an can drop and drag iTunes into the <music. folder inside the TELACHIPS icon . If you have bought music from iTunes DON'T put it on your JUKE it is locked and will screw things up! there are ways to unlock them, It's all on the Internet
i need to transfer music
