MY ceiling fan stopped working, the lights do work what can I do to fix it?

I have the same fan. You have wired it wrong. The receiver goes under the collar cover. It is a tight fit but it is the quietest fan I have.

We have a 52" Aloha Breeze fan that stopped working this evening - fan and light. The remote control was burning up - after reading the other posts I hate to see what else is burning! Sounds like it would be safer to buy a new, reputable fan than spend more money on replacement parts.

It's most likely the receiver for the remote (transmitter) -- it's located under the cover at the top of the fan -- will need replacing.

it also could be one of the the jumpers fell out of the remote
they are located just above the battery. you will need to match the placement of the jumpers with the receiver mounted in the fan.
