Kenwood excelon I was wondering how to have the video playing when my E brakes are not on?? I know I have to ground something but what??

should be a light green wire.

you probably have a bad flexible cable that goes from the face to the main motherboard.

you have to hookup parking brake wire up to ground. this will allow the dvd to show

conect the brake wire to ground

red-accessory
if there is a light green,pink,or brown one is is us for brake ,
purple/white -camera or green/white
green/black-left rear- spk-
solid/green-left rear-spk+
purple/black-right rear-spk-

no just ground it out on this radio you dont need a sequence just ground it out with the black wire it will work fine

ground the parking wire to groound wire

pull the e-brake handle up 1 notch - not enough to engage the brake but enough to engage the switch to allow the video to play...

yes the brown ribbon is ripped and you need it replacing its vry cheap abot 50 quid and 20 for fitting thanks
