Neff u1271 oven not heating

The fan oven is not heating. Turn the oven on the light by the knob comes on. The fan and the light in the oven come on but heat. Left for 20mins and still blowing cold air. Could this have something to do with the timer? It appears there is a different sign on the display. Or is it the element/thermostat! Many thanks Will

I have replaced the element in my oven as the last one blew. The new element takes a long time to reach the desired temperature, about 30-40 mins to get to 200.

got a caple electric fan oven. changed the thermostat in oven now everything seems to work but the oven does not get hot. The grill works fine and the fan goes round ok but does not heat up. Not sure if i have put all the wires back on the same way or if there is another fault. Is there any diagrams

Found the fault. It's the heat ring in the main oven. MAKE SURE THE MAINS POWER IS OFF PRIOR TO COMMENCING THIS WORK!!!!! 1.Simply remove the four screws that fix the fan surround in the main oven. 2.Remove the rear cover fixing screws and remove the rear cover. ( the cable passes through this so just rest it to one side ). 3.Remove the two push on spade connectors from the heater element ( positioned just down and to the right of the fan assembly ). 4.Remove the four heater element fixing screws from inside the main oven. 5. The tricky bit. . . There is one more fixing at the top of the fan in the main oven. I could not get the fan off its spindle, but the next step sorted this out. 6.Remove the three fan fixings from the rear of the oven. This allows the fan to wobble/move enough in the oven to remove the final heater fixing screw at the top of the fan. 7.Pull the heater element into the main oven. No doubt it has a very grey and flakey appearance to part of it! 8.Buy a new one and replace it in reverse order, remembering to replace all fixing screws as you go. 9. If you forget which way the cables on the heater element go, the one with the red marks on it goes to the left as you look at the back of the oven from the outside. ( nearest the fan assembly ) I know this all looks a bit long winded, but it really is quite simple if you follow the notes above! Hope this helps someone. Might just save a ridiculous call out charge from the professionals!!!! Best of luck, Keith.

Solution above was great and inspired me to buy the heater ring on line and follow the instructions.
I had no troble just remove the back cover to the fan, un screw the heater ring and connect the wires.

Easy

Neff single oven won't heat up. Replaced the main element and grill heats but when switched to fan oven the fan and light comes on but no heat?

If the fan is working o/k, then the element is faulty, or it is not getting power to it, you need to test with a meter for a supply to it.

Neff oven not heating have replaced fan element

it has to be the temperature control itself...thats the only other component, aside from the high-heat cut out switch which rarely goes bad.

The bottom (fan oven) of my Neff U1721 made soft bang noise and failed. The fan stopped, the oven light went out and the thermostat light. I replaced the burnt out heating with a new element with a 32.5...

The power to the fan and thermostat is the fault. You will need to trace wiring from these elements to power source and I suspect that where the power cord meets the oven is where you'll find the cause.

Oven not heating up

If the oven fan is working o/k, then all you need to do is replace the oven element, a straightforward repair, and cost effective, if no fan, then could be expensive.

Thanks.

Yes it will need a new element, if the fan runs and temperature light comes on then the element is gone.

Temp display shows 444

If everything on your B1691N0GB oven seems to be working, i.e. all the lights are on and fan comes on in fan oven setting, but there is no heat from fan oven, conventional oven or grill, try turning your oven off at the mains, then turn on again. If the temperature display then shows 444, your oven is locked. To unlock, make sure the central control knob is in the "out" position, then press the fan oven and light buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds or so, until 333 appears on the display. Your oven is now unlocked.
