Please any one help me by solving this problem

hai my name is vinod.iam using the sansa m230 512 mp3 player.it was not detecting by my system.as i connected to my computer it asks me to "sync files by windowsmediaplayer,take no action"ichanged the usb options to msc.but there is no use please say how to solve my problem.i get frustrated by my player .i installed my drivers also.
when i saw the information in the menu it shows
total size=496(since 512 mb player)
free space=0
total songs=4396
recordings=496
now please reply me as soon as possible."NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY PLAYER"
