I am having a problem using my Sony HDR SR7 with my new PC with Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit. Sony has sent me to their website to download new drivers but each time I am told that the SPUAVCHD Player.exe is missing a component, and the PX.dll can't be found. I'm going crazy,as I am computer illiterate and have tried redownloading many times.... HELP.....Elliot

try to uninstall any previous Sony software installation. and then copy and paste this link to the address bar of your internet browser:

http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-download.pl?mdl=HDRSR7&upd_id=4188&os_id=33

download this update and save it to the desktop or anywhere you can access update easily. then after downloading insert the software disc that came with your camcorder but do not run it, instead run the downlaoded update. it should guide you through the whole installation process.
