Best Buy Digital Music Store is a bust. You must go to http://www.rhapsody.com and download the latest version of their Rhapsody Software. Once installed and configured, Rhapsody may ask you to install Helix DRM but the process is automated and the setup program handles it for you quite well. Then you are off to the races!!! Good luck Grasshopper.
It's always best to use the recommended software for best results with your player and there should not be a requirement to purchase to use the software for file management. If needed, the software can be downloaded here.
Hi Shelly62, For problems with Best Buy™ digital music store downloads you should contact Rhapsody. Their tech support is available weekdays from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pacific Time and weekends from 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific time. The tech support number is 1-866-401-7314. Best Regards, Ken “Go Ahead.Use Us.”
Your getting that msg b/c some or all of the songs do not have "transfer rights" - that music service is bad, b/c you pay once for the subscription, and then have to pay again per track to be able to play the songs on your player.
I'm not sure if you're using a Sansa mp3 player or what, but you do not have to use Best Buy's music svc. You can use Napster To Go or a host of others. Bearshare is pretty nice.
I use Rhapsody with Vista. You need to go to Rhapsody's website (or Best Buy Digital Music Store, which runs the same software) and download the updated version, which will work just fine.
Purchased music from iTunes can be put on Sansa players as well when you set-up Rhapsody to manage your music. Have the program detect your music library and then all you have to do is drag and drop to your MP3 player.
