Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

It's frozen. My computer dosen't reconize it. won't charge won't play any songs, won't sync bottom line it's not donig ANYTHING, except staying on. It shows the first song wont play it cant do anything with it!!!

To reset the player hold in the power button for at least 20 seconds, when you release the button the player should restart on it's own. If it doesn't then try again holding the power button for a little longer. If for some reason the player becomes unstable and resetting doesn?t resolve the issue, then try the Sansa Connect Recovery Tool which will clean up your player and restore it to factory settings. you can use windows media player.go to library tab,click on the now playing list, select sync list.drag songs which you require to the list from the library on the left side

You need to synch them to Rhapsody or whatever music service you pulled the songs from. also, make sure your music service subscription supports transfer to portable devices instead of simple transfer to a computer.

My sansa wont sync songs.


If you simply just deleted the previous tracks that were on your mp3 player the computer might just reconize that they are still there and that it isnt necessary to put them on agian. if you try formatting your mp3 player it might help, or instead of sync your music to your mp3 player, there is always an alternative way, you could copy and paste them into the folders of your mp3 player.

Won't play certain songs


Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
