Hi, I have a microsoft wireless chat headset that I bought only to use with skype--I don't want to download the microsoft chat program. How do I get it to work with Skype? Do I have to go ahead and download the microsoft chat program in order to activate the headset? I have already charged the headset. I tried going to the control panel, audio, but did not see the headset, although I have plugged in the receiver. Thanks,

Make sure you select the wireless when you do the setup.
Also send this to your family
and friends so they have their computer setup properly.
Web Camera’s have to be
setup on the program they are to be used with.
Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to
broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for
the Audio and Video to function properly.
Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/)
set it up as follows:
The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to
see and her to you.

You need to go into skpe and choose XBOX 360 device as default under the options in skype for audio
make sure it is on, it is deceptive and make sure that you have sync it. I couldn't get the speakers to work and actually found out it was that when i was fiddling with it i kept accidentally turning the volume on the headset down, suprisingly easy to do
the problem i have is when i am walking around i can't get the headset to answer the phone because the button that makes calls in windows live only works for windows live. \
my thoughts are that perhaps there is a shortcut key that relates to that button? if there was then you could make the answer shortcut the same. anyone one know what the short cut is i have tried quite a few combo's
