Try a reset. It worked for me with the same problem.

Nothing happens when i plug my usb cable into my computer with the tomtom ONE

start tomtom home if it does not start automaticlly when you turn on your tomtom and connect it to your computer..if you dont have tomtom home, you can get it HERE.

if its still not connecting try another usb cable although im not sure in that one disconnects from the home dock on the 910

( i assume your using the home dock because thats the only way a 910 will hook up to a computer)

TomTom GO 910 - screensaver?

try this it does take a while to do.

Connect your TomTom to your computer1.gif via USB and open up your Windows Explorer and go to the drive. (It will be listed as TOMTOM (E) or some other drive letter).

Copy the Yellow Folders one by one to your PC. Ideally, save all the folders under a new folder that you name.

You may find that the folder ttntools and gns may not be copied. This is o.k. if they aren't.

Format your Tomtom via MY Computer.

Copy the Yellow Folders from the backup1.gif you made in STEP 1 back to the TomTom.

Open TomTom Home
Click on Upate Now.
Install the latest update onto your TomTom.
Once installed, switch your TomTom off, then disconnect if from the PC.

Thats it. From now on, make a full backup using TomTom Home prior to any updates.

Also note, that copying all the files will take some time.

How to reset

There is a small reset hole on the back of the unit at the top. Press a paperclip into this hole for a couple of seconds and the unit should reset.
