Need drivers for an MSI mobo, i cant figure out the mobo model, but i have used hirens boot disk to determine unknown devices.
The driver i need is: Realtek semiconductor RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC...
I have found the driver and downloaded and installed it from several different sites. The installation runs fine, but it's still picking up the NIC as and unknown device. I have tried updating the driver through device manager and still no luck.
On the motherboard the only model numbers that are printed are: N1996, 945GCM5 V2 and MS-7267 VER: 4.2
Hope this gives enough info for a helpful solution.
Thanks.
P.S i have a deadline of 2pm which is 2 and a half hours away... :)

okie dokie i got a VIA motherboard thats better then the one im using now, but i got a problem with it i dont know what it is, when i install the motherboard right, the computer wont turn on, but if i stick my finger under the side of the motherboard and pull forward and hold it like that then it will turn on, the fans will start spinning and everything but the screen wont turn on, it will just keep blinking like its on standby. this is when i have my graphics card plugged in, if it take out my graphics card and plug the screen into the onboard Monitor jack instead then the screen will turn on but it will say ''out of range'' like its a wireless monitor but its not. i cant seem to get this motherboard working, i have tried 2 difrent graphics card and with more and less ram and im all out of options, anyone have any idieas?
