Re: Super nintendo

You mean without destroying it. You would need a specialized gamebit screwdriver, I believe is the 6.5mm version or If I have mistaken the 9.5mm version.

Well try cleaning the game packs out with qutips and rubbing alchal well there is a battery inside of super Nintendo game packs that save the game data and they can't work with out some power so maybe the batteries are dying then it could be that then.

My Super Nintendo seems to not work with any Mode7 or FX Chip games such as Star Fox, Super Mario Kart, and specific graphics in games like Contra III. I was wondering if cleaning the pins and carts would...

Well I personally think that if you tried cleaning the gamepacks and still no luck after that then
youe super NES console is broken and having internal issues too. But if the gamepacks work fine after you clean them out with qutips and rubbing alcohal than it was probally just the carttiages then.

I have just found my old super nintendo. Tried to set it up but im unsure how to do so. Can you give me step by step how to set it up?

Not to be rude but are you serious?
Do you have the SETUP MANUAL, it tells you how to.
If not then, follow these steps.

First, plug controllers to the front of the super nintendo.
Second, plug in ac adapter(power) to the back of the super nintendo(round hole).
Third, plug in video cable
-if it has a red, white, and yellow plug it into back of super nintendo and the front of the t.v.
-if it has a grey box with a wire coming out of it, plug it into the back of super nintendo and back of the t.v. where you will have to screw it in by twisting it to the right.

Now if its the three different colored wires, then it will be on the first video channel.
If it screws into the back of the t.v. then it will be on channel 3 or 4 depending on what the channel switch says on the grey box.

Put the game in with the picture facing you all the way in.
Now hit start and you should be good to go. If you get a black screen try taking the game out and blowing on it then putting it back in after all it is old!

And there you have it!

Reset button on super nintendo

The power button on my N64 is broken so you need a 4.5mm screw driver to open it up and see if you can fix the reset button then.

I just bought a super nintendo ''super famicom jr''. I turned the power button on and I didn't see anything on the screen. Am I supposed to put the game in first before I turn the power button on? I didn't...

Well yes you are supposed to put the game in before you turn on the system. another thing is that super nintendo doesn't make the same noises like most modern game systems do because those game systems require more electrical components. If the light is on its most likely working. If it still doesn't work it most likely has dust. you might want to blow in the game or the game console. Hope I could help.

It is because you need to do the following things:
unplgg the wii consol.
Then wait 10 minutes.
Plug back up.
Then if still shows call nintendo

Why aren't my games playing on the nintendo fc twin?

The FC Twin connects through an RCA connector, and can be hooked into a surround sound system. When using stereo and surround output from these systems, NES sounds and music may seem very different from their typical mono output. Using output modes that properly generate mono sound, either through a single center speaker or cloned to multiple speakers, the sound output sounds mostly identical to the original NES. The FC Twin does not produce some sounds faithfully, even with mono output; sound effects in the Super Mario Bros. series games will for example immediately seem different. Nevertheless, some later models of the console produce NES sound much more faithfully than units made closer to launch. Recent models produce sound with complete fidelity.
