1. Remove the switch from the door trim panel. 2. Check for continuity between the terminals. If continuity is not as specified in the table, replace the power window switch. POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH caeb1ca.gif 77eecfc.gif WINDOW LOCK SWITCH 66921fc.gif

SOURCE: 2003 Dodge Ram 2500- window master switch

Alot of times these switches get water from the rain coming in intoo them causing the contacts to short or not make contact at all, unfortunately they are not servicable but you may want to try spraying some electrical cleaner into the switch working the button at the same time this may help

2002 thunderbird window won't go up or down replace swith still wont work fuse are ok does the switch get power

The master switch connector does have circuits that have power on them. The Master switch is not directly connected to the window motors. The switch sends a signal to the Front Electronic Module and the module controls operation of the motor on the driver side. The passenger door window motor is controlled by a different module

Mazda 6 passenger window won't go up!!!

It sounds like it could be the window solenoid, or the window motor. It's unlikely the switches on both doors are bad. Check the solenoids and motors...

Doors wont lock. Windows won't work. Car thinks the door is locked because when I open the hood alarm goes off. Security light is flashing when doors are closed. Locks don't engage when driving...

Window fuse's and relay's may be up under driver or passenger side dash or behind glove box, under the hood and even under the seats, and finally on the ends of the dash. All passenger power windows and locks are controlled thru and get power from the master control switch on the drivers door. Could be a broken wire in the rubber boot going from the door to the body. You will have to eliminate each till you find the culprit. Check that all switches return to neutral when released. It could also be the body control module.

The passenger side window and rear windows will not work is there a fuse for the lockout switch

No, there isn't a separate fuse. If the driver's master control works and the lockout is disabled - then chances are that the master control switch needs to be replaced. All of the axillary switches run through the driver's master switch.
