Subwoofer rumbling static in Logitech THX

I have Z2200 Logitech computer speakers with subwoofer. Some static is in the right speaker on and off.
But just starting today, the subwoofer has this loud ,rumbling static. It seems like it's from the connection of the controller cable. I reconnected it tree times and it stops but comes back again.

Logitech THX Z-2300 only one speaker works. theres something wrong with the input. both speakers work fine but the 1 of the inputs on the subwoofer stopped working, causing only one speaker 2 work

try tapping the speaker box in your palm while the speaker is connected. There might be a bad contact of the wires inside. I had to open up my speaker to find that out. i moved around the wires connected to the cone of the speaker and then started to hear music once i did that. it was the left speaker by the way.

Logitech THX Z-2300 Speakers Don't work and subwoofer does

Well, just because someone at Logitech said the speakers are definitely broken doesn't necessarily make it so. They told me the same thing, yet when I read on another forum that plugging earphones into the wired remote sometimes seems to make things better, I plugged earphones into the wired remote -- and Voila! All of a sudden the blue light went on and I had sound from all three speakers. The sound continued working properly even after removing the earphone jack. IMO the problem could be with the wired remote rather than with the speakers themselves. My speakers work again!

No sound from computer speakers

Make sure that you have the speaker plugged into the GREEN jack on the back of the computer or sound card. If they are not color coded then make sure it is plugged into the speaker out. Pink is for the mike and Blue is or plain is for input. You probably already know this but sometimes it helps to know if your not sure. Hope this is of some help. Bud
