SOURCE: Technics 1210 feedback problem hollow noise ??

More than likely it's your RCA cables, or it could be a tonearm or cartridge issue. First try and swap out the cartridges on your turntable, and see if the problem persist. If it does, then you can narrow it down tot the tonearm and RCA cables. Since the RCA cables are easier and cheaper to replace, I would suggest doing this first - You can try to do this yourself, however soldering experience is required. You can purchase the parts HERE - and install yourself, or try to find a reputable service center area to replace the cables.

A word of advice, try not to use the original RCA cables that are installed with the turntables, as they aren't of the greatest quality. Try and put a better brand, or use the MOGAMI cables, available HERE.

If the problem persists, then the issue with your tonearm, and replacing the tonearm involves a lot more in-depth work, and I would only suggest having it done by a profession. You can buy the part HERE, and bring it with you to the service center, to minimize your cost.

There is nothing else that would cause this kind of problem except one of the 3 (or combination). So, by a process of elimination, you'll solve the problem.

Have fun!

Technics sl d303

I have the same problem as mentioned above, does anyone know how to fix this pls. The 33 and 45 lights have stopped illuminating, hence cannot get the record to start playing. There not burnt out as the 33 has flickered off once powered on. Start / Stop button does nothing. Strobe still works, it's in mint condition and has had little use but suspect the kids have been messing with it.

I can't find the manual to my Technics RS-TR272 Stereo Cassette Deck. How do you tape something on one cassette to another?

Place the tape you want to record into the left deck, Then the blank tape into the right deck. Press play on the left deck and record on the right deck.

It may be opposite depending on which side your recording deck is on.

Which ever deck has record, place blank cassette into that one and the cassette you want to copy into the other deck.

Hope this helps and please rate thanks

Try plugging it into a different power point. The problem is with the power supply fluctuating. You can eliminate that with a UPS, here is a link to wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uninterruptible_power_supply

Help for technics 1200 MK2 and 1210 Speed is too fast

On the 1200MK2 the pitch control slider is for just that purpose. Disregard the 0 setting and use the illuminated strobe marks on the platter to adjust to nominal speed. When they appear to be motionless you are there. The control on the 1210 may be a knob but the same principles apply.
