How do you change font size of email printout?

Internet Browser Instructions

  • If you open your email account using a browser, there is a very simple way to increase the font. Font size options are located either under "Tools" ("Options" or "Preferences" then "Content") or "View" (text size) on your browser's main menu. Change the font to a larger size, which may be set by number or by selecting "Larger" or "Largest" font from the list of options. You may have to click "Advanced" or the similar option in the "Fonts" section of some browsers to adjust the font properly.

Next, click "File" then "Print Preview" on your browser's main menu. This will show you how the email will look when printed. Click "Page Setup" and deselect the "Shrink to Fit Page" option. This will allow you to print the email at the new, larger font size. Be sure to return your browser's font size to normal when you are finished printing the email, or else all of your pages will display with a larger font.

Other Email Software
  • If you use a non-browser email software program to view your emails, insert your email contents into Microsoft Word (or a similar word processing program) to print it in large letters. Select the entire message from your email software then go to Word to paste the contents into a blank document. You can then select the text of the email and increase the size of the font. When you're done, print the file as you would normally. You can also perform this action with an email that you open inside of a browser.

Need to Change Font and size of printing on email and Windows 7 won't let me do it. Where do I go to let that release?

Increase font size in Outlook 2007: CTRL+] or CTRL+SHIFT+>

Alternatively, you should be able to highlight all of the text in the body of the email and adjust the font size before printing.

How do you adjust Fontsize on a Lexmark X5270 printer? In printing out emails the font size is VERY tiny I would like to have a larger font to make reading easier.

Actually, you can change the font size through the application you're using to make your emails. Try to explore the application settings before printing your emails. The Lexmark printer nor the printer software is not capable of changing the font size of your documents on your computer.

I have tried every thing that i could with out sucsess to enlarge the printer font size on my documents i can't hardly read them thay are so small.

If you are trying to print emails directly, you must change font size in Internet Explorer options for font size which controls email print size in Outlook Express. You may copy to a Word doc to control fonts there.

When I print out articles or emails the font is very small(tough to read) I can increase the font on my computer, but I want to print the bigger font size . I have an HP Photosmart4700

You can only change the font in the software that you are making your documents with or with your email try changing the font type and size. This is the only way to adjust the size of your font.

Font size on printed copis different than shown on incoming email

Just maybe it is the size of the original e-mail and your monitor makes it appear larger. The way  that I do it is to copy and past the email into a word processor, like WORD, then set the type font to the size that I want before printing, then print from that file
