Help! I recently reformatted and reinstalled Windows XP, and since my PCGA-WMS5 Mouse (that came with the computer) has not worked... the cpu doesn't seem to recognise the mouse at all... checked batteries, are ok... red light comes on under mouse, but does not track on screen... looked on Sony help pages and installed the entire driver package that came with the laptop... any ideas?

Hi there. I have recently upgraded my Vaio to a VGN-AR49G and am wondering if my old mouse (PCGA-WMS5) will work with it. Have tried accessing the link you suggested, but it said the serial number is invalid.

Try that link, put in the product code and serial number. Updated drivers usually help those issues. Any drivers that come with a computer/labtop are almost always out of date.
