Daytime running lites are the hi beam lites running on reduced voltage. So when you turn on your lites the voltage goes up to normal and you have hi beam lites
the flasher is under the dash on the drivers side near or on the fuse panel.turn on the hazard lights and find the flasher then you will know what the signal flasher looks like and find quicker.these are 2 different flashers.
do u mean ur turn signals do not flash an does the green turn signal arrow on ur insterment panel light upwhen u go to turn them on...if they dont flash an the arrow lites replace the turn signal flasher ..it is a round sliver cylinder located in the fuse box or under the dash on the steering column
Beware...some GM cars , especially 94-96 were made with two flashers in them. One was for the emergency flashers and the other was for the directional. If you flashers are located under the dash by the steering wheel look around you will see the other one. Be sure to replace it with the proper one.
if both do not work I'd check the flasher unit first or look for a blown fuse (by the passenger side left knee, behind the cover on the console.) The flasher unit is behind the bolster cover above the driver's knees.
unless I am mistaken, the high beam switch is in the turn signal handle, it moves forward for high beams and is spring loaded toward the driver (back) for high beam flash
Try turning on the emergency flashers(they operate on a different flasher) if all your lights are flashing then all you need is a turn sig. flasher. Easy to find right near or on the fuse block. If none of the emergency lites flash you may have an open cicuit in the turn sig, switch.
it is inside, under dash, on left side is a plastic sound protector, mine had 3 screws holding it up, drop this down and straight in you will see a 1" round thing - this is the flasher, pull it out and replace with new one (there are two flat prongs that plug in). It appears this is a well guarded secret!
