SE SIMs are difficult to remove. The band holding it is place does not slide like other models typically do. In order to remove the SIM, you have to press down slightly on the exposed part of the SIM and try to slide it out, keeping it parallel to the body of the phone.

I got a nokia n97 mini from my mate. I put my sim card from my Telstra phone into it. The phone said sim card not valid. What do I do? I haven't done anything to both the card and the phone.

You need to unlock the phone because your phone still lock to another network provider. So, my best advise is to visit nearest mobile repairing shop. There they can easily unlock with the help of repairing tools...so that you will never face trouble. Thanks for visiting fixya

I bought a unlock code for my lg gt365 neon and i put a tracfone sim card in it and it says emergency calls only how do i fix it so i can use a tracfone sim card.

First you need to unlock your phone before you put tracfone sim card on that phone. Make sure you have appropriate LG neon GT365 unlock code example : if your old sim card using t-mobile you must use t-mobile unlock code for your phone not tracfone. You can get lg unlock code from online seller with lower price and quick turnaround.

Hi dear, , my Nokia N73 mobile some trouble " SIM card not valid" . how is solve the problem? Please assist to me.

If you encounter this problem,it means your phone does not accept your network provider simcard, it only recognize sim that is lock in a particular provider. If you wish to unlock your phone, visit this paid service site at www.mobile-unlocker.com and fill up the phone information as well as the terms of payments,or you can go directly to any mobile service shop near you for unlocking your phone using a gsm gadget.it is fast and more affordable.

Hi there,i had purchased htc thunder bolt a month ago from Miami US and since it was a lock piece i also bought unlock code online. Now the biggest challenge i am facing is when i put my local active sim...

Hi, i think your step not correct when entering HTC Thunderbolt unlock code. You must use your old sim card to unlock your phone, don't use new sim card before that phones completely unlocked. That's why your sim card not recognized. If this method not working maybe you get wrong HTC unlock code, since it's little rare for me. Usually if you bought unlock code reputable online store, they usually send unlock code with complete instruction how to insert that unlock code in your phones. The bottom line try my method and if not working get new code. Thanks.

NB: don't enter your wrong code to many times in your phones, it will caused your HTC to hard locked state and you can't use that phone even you put your old sim card.

I have a nokia 2330 and when i put the sim card in its asking for the restriction code wat is it?

hi what the phone is telling you is that the sim card you are trying to use is from a network not supproted by the phone so you then have 2 options you can either get the phone unlocked at any phone shop so it can accept any sim card or you can find out what network the phone is locked to then use a sim card from that network.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Unlocking procedure

I think you need to insert the original Sim card that was used when you set the code.  The code is stored in the card. Once you have done that and unlocked the phone, the phone will work with all other Sim cards.  Just remember if you set the code you have to use the card that was in use at the time.

You can take the phone to a shop and they might be able to clear it.  They have special software for that purpose, that isn't readily available to all.
