What is the impedance of your woofers it will be a number with an Omega symbol. Looks like a horseshoe next to your woofer . Like this JL Audio 10W1v3 8ohm. Please, Please tell me you bought 8 ohm woofers JR?? Because if not, it ain't gunna happen.. If you did buy 8 ohm woofers than wire them in parrellel which means all the +'s together and all the -'s together giving you a final impedance of 2 ohms and your amp will think your a car audio GOD... But if not be ready to smell plastic burning where your amp used to be.... let me know i can walk you thru the wiring but let me know what you have. ok. mark

try one at a time. if they work then try hooking them up differently. if none work, then check to see that your amp is not in protect mode. if amp is ok, then check to make sure you have your rcas connected to your amp. in other words, re-check all your wiring. if still nothing, try your amp on your friends car and vise versa.

Popping sound! please help - jl 500/1 and two jl w3v3 2ohm subs
no connection are good + to + -to - thats all that matters. either the speakers are blown or you need a stronger amp. since you already tried speakers probably need bigger amp. definitley not the box. no such thing as a break in period, are the subs 10 12 inch or what. you could try to bridge them too that means hook both up to the same +-terminals, 2 wires per screw. it usually isnt the way they hook them up, its the wires fuses etc that cause problems. what guage wires is the speaker wire, the power line etc. if you give me these guages i might be able to get somewere

These subwoofers are dual 4 ohm voicecoils.

Parallel wiring the 2 voicecoils would net a 2 ohm mono load.

Connect both + on the sub to the + on the amp.
Connect both - on the sub to the - on the amp.

Many professionals simply jumper the 2 + and 2- on the sub.... then run 1 set of wires from one of the terminals to the amplifier.

Hooking up three 12 in w3v2
It depends on how much power/watts and ohms your amp is stable at if it stable at a 1/2 ohm then you can bridge them in series and this will lower the ohms of the speakers to 2 ohms
