You can join the apple development program for a one-time fee and now they have opened it up for free testing of your apps from within the program for free. The testing environment is worth the money all by itself, but for the ongoing testing, it's a good place to start. Also, get in touch with someone who is doing it already and either request an internship or maybe an actual position with a company.
Elegant iOS Apps

Is a great place to start. You can ask them if they've got any openings, I just read about them in the news so I think they're probably growing. If you're in California and can stop by their office you might have a better chance at landing an internship at the very least. Hope this helps!

Hello!
I would recommend 9 simple steps for this:

  1. Idea
  2. The iPone is an Apple product and uses a variation of the Mac OS. Therefore you need to get a Mac
  3. Register as an apple developer
  4. Download the software development kit for iPhone (SDK)
  5. Download XCode
  6. Develop your iPhone app with the templates in the SDK
  7. Learn objective-c for cocoa
  8. Program your app In objective-c
  9. Test the app in the iPhone simulator
For more understanding of whole process look at great examples from web application development company - Iflexion.

Hello,
Probably the best (and cheapest way) to get our feet wet with iPhone development would be to register (free) at the iPhone Developer Center found here:
http://developer.apple.com/iphone/index.action
Once you've done this, you'll have access to the basics to get you started. Latest stable SDK, sample frameworks, tutorials, guides, reference librarys and best of all, Developer videos, how-to's and sample code.
If this is for you, then you can move up the the full-fledged iPhone Developer Program ($99 per year). This gets you access directly to Beta level firmware OSes & SDKs, as well as, help directly from the pros at Apple!
This also allows you to test and submit your finished apps directly to Apple for approval and distribution through the iTunes App Store to sell your app to millions worldwide.

You need to get the SDK from apple, then watch the tutorials and go from there. THe SDK costs money, but without the SDK you can not develop for the iPhone

To develop on iPhone, you must own an Apple. If you do, download the iPhone SDK from the Apple website. Also, if you want to distribute your Apps through Apple, you need to sign up with their Developers Program, again on the website. By the way, the iPhone programs in it's own mixed blend of Objective-C and Cocoa languages.

You mean create apps and stuff like that? First you'll need a Mac with the Xcode SDK Installed on it, you'll also need to become part of the iPhone Developers Connection, once you've done all this you need to learn a programming language that is compatible with the iPhone software, like Objective C or Java. If you are a developer for some other platform you probably don't need to told that programming isn't something you learn over night, so don't expect to have a few apps in the app store by next week.
Hope this helps!

How to jailbreak an IPhone/Ipod touch

What is iPhone Jailbreak? In short, Jailbreak is the process of hacking an iPhone to free it from Apple restrictions.
Because the iPhone is far from flawless as Apple created it, thousands of iPhone users have flocked to Jailbreak in search of iPhone changes and improvements. iPhone has been held back by limited customizability, text message privacy issues, and a lack of multitasking capabilities. But Jailbreak can solve all of these problems with apps and fixes available in Cydia and Installer.
Cydia and Installer are the unofficial "App Stores" of the Jailbreak world. Developers create apps and tweaks and different utilities and upload them to these package managers, which organize everything into categories. The differences between Cydia and the App Store are the lack of an app approval process, and the lack of access limits on the iPhone software - i.e. you can do things Apple did not design the iPhone software to do.
Why Jailbreak iPhone?
  1. No restrictions. Want a custom wallpaper on your home screen? Custom icons for your apps? Internet tethering? A category system for organizing your apps? The ability to hide native iPhone apps you don't use? You can do all of this and more with Jailbreak, as iSmashPhone describes in ten reasons to Jailbreak your iPhone. As one of my readers recently noted, Jailbreak can make all your iPhone wishes come true.
  2. To join the subculture. Sick of Apple's stranglehold on the iPhone? Those who Jailbreak iPhone belong to a movement of people who demand more from their iPhones. And they're not gonna let Apple stop them. Beat the system: Jailbreak your iPhone.
  3. Unlock iPhone. To unlock your iPhone and use it on any carrier, you must first Jailbreak your iPhone. Some of the Jailbreak solutions below also allow you to unlock the iPhone, though unlocking is generally beyond the scope of this tutorial.
Why NOT Jailbreak iPhone?
  1. The folks at Apple know what they are doing. They have not enabled multasking - the ability for apps to run in the background, simultaneously - most likely because it is a huge battery drain. By controlling the user experience, Apple ensures that your iPhone "just works," and you don't have to worry about managing battery life or any other technical details.
  2. Jailbreak could (maybe?) brick your iPhone. "When someone develops something for an Apple product and that development isn’t sanctioned by Apple, you run the risk of it not working as it should, conflicting with the device itself, or just all-around bricking that iPhone," warns Chris Pirillo, who prefers not to Jailbreak his iPhone because "my iPhone just works already." But I have never heard of Jailbreak completely ruining an iPhone. The consensus at this forum seems to be that the chance is "extremely slim."
  3. Every iPhone update from iTunes disables Jailbreak. Every time Apple comes out with an update for iPhone, they find a way to prevent hackers from cracking the code again. Hackers then scramble to Jailbreak the iPhone again and release the new methods. That means if you like to download Apple's iPhone updates, you are going to have to figure out each time how to Jailbreak your iPhone yes again. Do you really want to play this cat and mouse game?
  4. Jailbreak might increase your risk of getting a virus on your iPhone. The only two iPhone viruses ever reported have spread across iPhones that have been Jailbroken. That's not to say the iPhone platform as Apple built it is totally secure. In fact, some say compromising an iPhone's security is "child's play" (i.e. easy).
  5. Jailbreak voids your iPhone warranty. If your iPhone is bricked because of Jailbreak, or if your iPhone has another problem and it happens to be Jailbreaked, your warranty becomes void. I once saw a sign at the Genius bar of The Falls, Miami Apple Store that warned customers not to Jailbreak iPhones or they would void their warranties. Harsh.

On your iphone go to www.jailbreakme.com and have fun!

Ipad problems

This article may help you. It is for iPhone, but the same operating system runs on iPad as well.

Several months ago I downloaded iOS 7 beta with developer program. It worked fine. When iOS 7 had officially came out, I checked my phone and it restarted on its own. The locked screen said"Activation Error: This device is not registered as part of the iPhone Developer Program. If you are a member of the iPhone Developer Program, please register your device in the iPhone Developer Program Portal at http://developer.apple.com/iphone." I went to the link using my computer, although I am not a developer, and it didn't help me.
Recent days we see lots of iPhone users reported iOS 7 activation error. How did this happened? It is probably because users installed iOS 7 beta 6. As the iOS 7 beta has expired on October 6, which means anyone still running one won't be able to use their iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, and won't even be able to get past Activation if they try.
If you're experiencing an iOS 7 activation error on your iPhone/other device and were previously using iOS7 beta, there's a good chance to fix it with following simple steps:
1) make sure you have upgraded to iTunes 11.1.1. It is the most recent version of iTunes.
2) Plug you iPhone/iDevice into your computer. Back up the data on the device.
3) Click "Restore" on your device's page in iTunes. If this doesn't work, proceed to DFU mode
4) your device is done restoring and activating you can restore your data from your iTunes backup
5) you can use your non-beta iOS 7
If iTunes says there is no newer version to upgrade to, you can put your iPhone or device to DFU mode after the backup. DFU (Device Firmware Update) mode will make sure you download and install the latest release version of iOS off of Apple's servers.
1) Plug your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad into your Mac or Windows PC and make sure iTunes is running.
2) Hold down both the Sleep Button (on top of your device) and the Home Button (on the front underneath the screen).
3) Keep them both held down from about 10 seconds. (If you see the Apple logo, you've held them too long and will need to start again.)
4) Let go of the Sleep Button but keep holding the Home Button for about 5 seconds. (If you see the "Plus into iTunes" screen than you held it too long and will need to start again.)
5) Restore the device

How can I get a flash player for the iPhone 3

Currently Apple does not allow Adobe (Current Owners/Developers of Flash) to work on their IPhone series. But however, there is an app for Jailbroken IPhones called "Frash" that works as a substitute, but is slightly glitchy. But be warned, Jailbreaking your IPhone will void the warranty and can cause your service provider to cancel your IPhone contract at any time.

Effects of jailbreaking the iphone

There are a few Pros and Cons to consider when Jailbreaking your Apple iPhone.
Lets start with the good stuff. Jailbreaking your iPhone can be extremely fun. There are many useful applications available for download that bring your iPhone to life! I have found several open and closed source app to be very usefull.
The Cons..
I would like to commend every single one of the developers who are creating applications for this device. Many of them do this in their free time. For this I would like to say thank you!
Many of us have put our faith into the developers who create the catalog of outstanding software we are currently using. I am aware there is a process in which repositories are chosen for the installer.app. But a word of caution to anyone who installs these applications. Do so at your own risk!
Jailbreaking could potentially BRICK your iPhone!
If you have OPENSSH installed on your iPhone.
UNINSTALL OPENSSH - leaving OpenSSH installed on your iPhone will leave it vulnerable to exploit via WIFI hot spots. If you have sent any files to your iPhone via SFTP. Then you currently are aware of the devices root username and password! (Many other people know this as well!)
