Battery i have a honda cbr 600 f3. i put a new battery in it and drove 33 miles. when i tried to start it again the battery was drained. where should i start.

put a volt meter across the battery, engine stopped must be over 12v.
rev the engine to 3-4000 should rise to about 14v, this will show the charge system is working
Some batteries only last 12 months or so. if it is a couple of years old buy a new one, the gel ones seem to last longer

Put a charger on the battery for two or three hours. Now start the bike up and use a voltmeter to measure the voltage across the two battery terminals while the engine is running around 2000 rpm. The meter should read around 14 volts. If not, the charging system needs to be checked. If the charging system is working properly then yes, something is draining the battery. You will need to check all the wiring and switches to locate the source.

i have a '98 f3 stuntbike. they are very tempermental with air intake. make sure your air filter is clean and induction to the engine not clogged.

Sounds like a wire or plug got disconnected while changing the headlight out, the harness that connects to the clutch safety switch, the one that lets the ignition fire when cranking only when the clutch is pulled in. A safety feature so you don't dump the bike if you crank it while in gear.

hi would be good idear to also check spark and and timing also if you just got bike give it a good service this includes fuel filter

I have a 1995 cbr 600 f3. The main fuse is found by following the positive terminal wire to a relay. It is a box with a red fuse cap on top, in a rubber casing right behind the battery.

there isn't a 99 cbr 600 f3. the f3 ran from 95 thru 98
