Sonic programe wont work ,cant copy disc

i had some problems with the hard drive .. did a system recovery ... helped .. but some programes were kinda gone .. then a bug got hold of the hd and modem .. had to fix with avg ... now several of my programes do not run anymore .. like sonic ... it was part of the computer when i bought it .. i also can not use windows office stuff like the word processer.. etc.. i can not open the files i made on ms office before this fix (fix lol ya right).. happened .. can you help ?? ty vm c parfitt
