tricity bendix BIW103W spins and drains but the clothes are not properly spinned and the spin cycle seems shorter. There was a small piece of wood in the drain pump obstructing not long ago and it didn't drain and spin, since that solved it worked fine just now started spin badly. found also a little bit of soot under washing machine.
Hi, Your problem is very common and very easy to fix. You will first need to strip the machine down and remove the motor. Once you have done this then take off the motor carbon brushes, These are the little things in cases on the side of the motor casing. These should be at least 1" long! you will find that this is not the case and they will need replacing to resolve your problem. The parts should not cost anymore than around £20 for the pair.
Good luck any problems get beck to me............................

when we set our wdr 1040w off on a no.4 cycle it starts to fill the drum,it clicks to move forward within the cycle but nothing happens. The drum does not rotate either. Have tried running on a spin cycle and the drum still refuses to rotate. Prior to this the drum has become more noisy than normal, I think the bearings were on their way out ! It is probably about 5-6 years old and used nearly every day with a family of 2 adults & 2 children.
