It sounds wheel is misaligned. Remove wheel and put it back with mark aligned.

- Olymia service center would be fine to solve this problem as it seems some mechanical problem with typing wheel. Requires technician to check it personally.

Your typewriter is kinda old school. Hard to find the manual. Anyway, there's a code that you need to punch in to clear that error. You might consider calling this toll free number 1-800-816-6855 They specialize in typewriters for 25 years. Good luck!

Check both the ribbon and the print wheel inside the type writer. If you remove the wheel and can feel it moving inside forward and back it needs to be replaced.

I could be that the print wheel has been moved around do you notice a pattern like if the you type A it comes out as a S or something like that? The alignment of the Wheel is most likely off

the keys are just switch's for a small processor that then operates the correct typed symbol to strike the paper, you must have an issue the control unit that does this, it is a computer for all intents and purposes, I have a electronic typewriter and that is how it works..

Try readjusting the keys to whatever the machine is typing that way you wont be confused about what you are typing anymore
