Last month, i had format my acer laptop ASPIRE 4720, and i use window vista..but my problem now..i can't active my product key..coz my computer always tell that my window is not genuine..how can solve this problem?
While installing remain connected to the net and recheck the product key. After installation is over then disable automatic updates. Download WGA tool & a tool that removes this nagging message window. Use your Windows Live ID to enter the microsoft update/upgrade/security tools & updates and only download those which may be usefull to you. Don't forget to download the Malicious removal too......sodeep

When it tells you that it's not genuine is it a pop up message next to the clock in the bottom left?
Have you tried activating with the activation wizard?
(from microsoft.com)Click Start
, and then click Computer.
Click System properties on the toolbar, and then click Click here to activate Windows now in the Windows activation area.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
Select the Windows Vista activation method that you want, and then follow the instructions.
You need the key from Microsoft.
i need a vista home basic product key as my laptop is 2nd hand its key has already been used 3 times, my windows will stop workin in 10 mins. plz help
