Cant get on myspace at school

Having worked at a few schools, social websites are blocked for several legitimate and legal reasons. Not the least of which is preserving bandwidth for educational purposes.

If it is not okay with your school's IT director and the administration to access the myspace, then you will have to adapt to accessing it only when you are not at school. Get used to it. Many companies and businesses block social sites too.

Legally unless your school unblocks it you cant.

The school more than likely has a block in the IT system.. Just like many places of employeement block these things..

The only way to avoid it is - IF there is another local wireless internet sourse nearby and in range..

subscribe to a VPN (virtual private network) or use a proxy (proxy.org)

this is the site we used when i was in school (last year) it worked fine they have not caught on to it yet...

I wouldn't try anything to bypass the security enforced on your school network...if you happened to sign an agreement at the beginning of the school year, doing anything with networking or using the school networks for only purposes benifitting your education, bypassing does not count and IS ILLEGAL!

(In School and usually, in the Real World Occupations have securities placed on networks to watch for surfing or any types of various sites not appropriate for that location. Also these securities are meant to stop any illegal attacks on the network itself and keep the school/company safe...)

I'm Sorry if this doesn't get a good approvial, but if you can't wait for it until you get home, then you actually have an addiction to myspace...and you need help dealing with it, or wait until you get home.

you cant really avoid it unless you can find the control panel on the computer

most schools block all sites except for learing, sorry but chances are you can't.
