Ricoh Aficio 2022 jams duplexing only

Sometimes with this particular machine on one of the z flaps there is a swing gate at the top, i have had a spring come of the swing gate on the duplexer.

Its a fairly easy one to spot, but ill give you the part number for the exit unit anyways =]

you do not need the part number of that part because the part is working properly.You will have to open the machine and remove the inverter for the duplex that is the part you talk about .
After yo will get out of the machine you will see two solenoids on the part has a brakes from sponge for to stop the noise when the solenoids work. well on some machines on the sponges the glue goes in front and stop the solenoid to work free so remove the sponges and the machine will work again.
You will find the sponges because they are small as 2mm when you will move the solenoid with your hand and see where dose it brakes so on that side is the brake

If you open the duplexer and swing the duplex entrance plate out, there should be a thin little plastic piece that sticks out the top of the back side with a spring attached to it. On this model that piece of plastic breaks off and the duplexor entrance plate does not actuate properly, thus causing the problem you're having.

On the duplex door rear side there is a paper gate on the first door with a tab that gets acuated to gate the paper for the second pass, I bet the end of the gate is broken.
