My playstation has no voices when playing blue ray

The blueray eye is out. You will need a new blueray player. The only problem with that is the ps3 will only respond with the orginal parts it came with. ( i.e. motherboard blueray player ) So the best bet is to buy a broken blueray player and take the eye out and replace it with yours just the eye not the whole thing.

u check with the manual whether it has the capacity to play the blueray disk..or else u check with settings there might be some change should be made to play blue raydisk and even check with the site to solve the problem...

downloaded update onto memory stick from sony website and plugged it into the playstation, seemed to sort it

Mine just did the same thing two days ago. i have been researching the internet about this cause im not about to spend 150 through sony. anyway what is going on is there are two seperate diods in the laser compartment, one reads blurays and which is also ur games because they are consetered blueray also, and the other diod is for regular dvd and music cds. sounds like the blueray diod has took a ****. To get that part you have to order a new laser which is 150. youtube will show you how to change it. looks very easy

Call Sony, its a BlueRay drive failure. You'll either need to return it for repair, find a qualified technician or buy a new drive and replace it yourself (not recommended).

make sure that the playstation is set to play blueray dvds in the console settings. If it is and you still have problems try changing the settings to default

Have same problem, contacted careline, they are collecting and repairing console.

check in the ps3 settings for output that you are not selecting an output resolution for hdmi that is not compatible with your tv my tv has full 1080p hd but some so called hd ready tv's fall way short of that... try setting for 1080i or 720p see if it fixes the problem

i bought ps3 and it plays games ok i play a blueray and it had no colour.

ps3's are region free for gaming, However, certain functionality specific to the game title may be disabled and unreliable if your game is not from the same region as your playstation 3 system. the blueray dvd will only play your specific country region film dvd discs.
