Cant perform a quick restore.

what size is yous hard drive and is the windows installing it'self properly and the other problem is have you got all the motherboard drivers if not then the system will become unstable and the hard drive will need to be format back to manufactures default as the files thet were on drive are burrired deep and the only way to get rid of problems is using a program called kill disk then using your win 98 start-up floppy and fdisk the hard drive then partition then format the hard drive then install windows on then all other files for motherboard and graphics and other devices.
it should take you about 1 day to get back on line with pc up and running.
