Question about Sakar Talking Caller-ID Speaker Phone

Setting up the phone

Just got my phone and can not get anything on the screen. Can call out or in but noting on screen. set/store and then up arrow but nothing but blank screen. HELP

    I tried to program my phone doing the index first& all I got was a blank screen. The only thing I have gotten programmed is the date & time. I also misplaced my instruction booklet.Could you please Email or mail me a new instruction booklet. Thank you jean Plecker. Can I program installation while other phones are still functioning
on same line?

I had same problem. it was that i had the handset conected in the wrong place now my new phone is working fine.hope this help.

Press MENU/SELECT to display menu when in idle mode.
Press down-arrow or up-arrow to reach Date/Time . Press MENU/SELECT.

The ringer is turned off. How do I turn the ringer on? also can I buy another owners mannual


To set the ringer volume of the base unit, press FUNCTION/EDIT, scroll to Ringer Setting using the up or down arrow keys of the navigator key(lower right of base unit), press the right arrow key to select Ringer Setting. Press the right arrow key again to select Ringer Volume. Use the up or down arrow keys to choose the volume level, press the right arrow key to save the setting.

To set the ringer volume of the handset, press the CONF/FUNCTION button(lower left) on the handset, scroll to Ringer Setting using the up or down arrow keys of the navigator key(center of the handset), press the right arrow key to select Ringer Setting. Press the right arrow key again to select Ringer Volume. Use the up or down arrow keys to choose the volume level, press the soft key SAVE to save the setting. (There are three softkeys directly under the LCD screen of the handset whose functionality can change according to what is on screen)

Touch left or right arrow or [>>] of the desired Bass Engine setting item (i.e. Bass Max EQ, Bass Focus, etc). Touch arrows or the adjusted screen of the selected setting item, and change the setting. When setting is complete, storing in memory is recommended. Touch [RETURN] when finished.

Assign an Extension Number to Your Phone

1 Press program.

2 Press down arrow until the screen displays EXTENSION NO, then press right arrow.

3 Press the up arrow or the down arrow to select the desired extension number (from 11 to 22).

4 Press save store your selection.

NOTE: If you duplicate an extension number, you will hear a repeating
short ring. Repeat Steps 1-4 and assign a different number (from 11 to 22).

How do I dim the screen?


To adjust the notebook computer LCD press Fn+ F5 and release. Use the RIGHT ARROW or LEFT ARROW key to increase or decrease the value.
NOTES:
  • The Jog Dial control can also be used in place of the RIGHT ARROW or LEFT ARROW key.
  • The setting may not be saved if the ESC key is pressed to exit the display settings. The ENTER key must be pressed, or the display settings must be allowed to close automatically to save the setting.

How do i turn of the keypad tone on my Motorola W490


  1. Select SETTINGS | RING STYLES
  2. On each style setting, move down to DETAIL
  3. For example, if you're on the LOUD style, press arrow down and select LOUD DETAIL
  4. Next screen go all the way to the bottom
  5. Find KEY VOLUME
  6. Change setting to "0"
  7. Select CHANGE

NOTE: You'll have to change each of the styles in this fashion

Cannot set the Time/Date


Setting the Date and Time The date/time needs to be set if/when: Camera is turned on for the first time. Camera is turned on after leaving ViviCam X60 without the battery for an extended period of time. When the date and time information is not displayed on the LCD monitor, follow these steps to set the correct date and time. 1. Slide the mode switch to [replay ], and press the MENU button. 2. Select [Setup2] with the LEFT ARROW button. 3. Select [Date/Time] with the UP ARROW / DOWN ARROW buttons, and press the SET button. The Date/Time setting screen will be displayed:[Setup] [Format], [On/Off]. 4. Select [Setup] with UP ARROW / DOWN ARROW buttons,and press the SET button. Select the item’s field with theLEFT ARROW / RIGHT ARROW buttons and adjust the value for the date and time with the UP ARROW / DOWN ARROW buttons. The date and time is displayed as the format you set. The time is displayed in 24-hour format. After confirming all settings are correct, press the SET button. The setting will be stored and the screen will return to the Setup2 menu.
