Re: Winxp sp2 c partition unknown

This normally happens when the c partition is not formatted or there is no primary partition, so when you insert the cdrom you should get the option to format the drive or set up the primary partition. The only other problem can be if you are using an SATA drive and you have not pressed the relevent F6 key on the start of the installation for SCSI drive support at which point you will be asked for drivers.

How to change your winxp sp2 to sp3

there is some games you can't play in winxp sp2, like gta IV online.
you have to reinstall or format your computer just to turn your operating system in winxp sp3, just to play this game. do'nt waste your time to format or reinstall your hard drive just follow this quick step

Step 1: Run Regedit by Clicking on Start -> Run , type in regedit and press enter
Step 2: Make a backup of your registry (just in case)
Step 3: Browse to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlWindows"
Step 4: Modify the value of "CSDVersion" from "0x00000200" (SP2) to the Windows XP SP3 value of "0x00000300"
Step 5: Close registry editor
Step 6: Reboot
Step 7: Start GTA and freakin enjoy it already!

Right click deleting and copying delay

the machine is bugged that's why it does this my advice is to save all files in another partition and reinstall the operating system as sun as possible ..until it will not be too late to save any ,,in short you have a spy-ware or a trojan that uses your resources and thats why it takes so long to perform ...reinstalling and actually format C partition will fix it ...try a good anti-virus on AVG 8.5 free it great for a free one ..and it will minimize your future problems ..of this kind...

Problem with the drive

Hi pravin,
One must pay close attention to the display screen when performing a new instillation of windows. Windows will show you the drive partitions. In your case windows will show there are two partitions. One C:\ & a second partition F:\. Perform a 3rd installation of windows. When you get to the screen where you can see both partitions (C: & F:) have windows delete the F: partition. Than have windows format the C: partition. Once C: has been formatted have windows install its self onto C:\
Install your driver software for your board. Than update windows through windows update service.
If you wish to back up your personal data to a CD/DVD writer, suggest you do this before formatting the system. Suggested folders to back-up.
C:\Documents and Settings\ User name\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book
C:\Documents and Settings\ User name\Desktop
C:\Documents and Settings\ User name\Favorites
C:\Documents and Settings\ User name\Local Settings\Identities
C:\Documents and Settings\ User name\My Documents
Data from any program you may have installed.

Once windows has been updated & you install anti-virus software you can copy & past each folder over the new folder in windows.
How to install windows XP.

Good luck pravin!
