this normally happens when the c partition is not formatted or there is no primary partition, so when you insert the cdrom you should get the option to format the drive or set up the primary partition.
The only other problem can be if you are using an SATA drive and you have not pressed the relevent F6 key on the start of the installation for SCSI drive support at which point you will be asked for drivers.

I'm having trouble getting my Verizon MyFi card to configure on my Dell PC w/ XP or my Dell laptop with Vista. The files load--but it doesn't find it when you look for a connection. I've spent 1-1/2 hours with Verizon's tech support and the ppl at Verizon took my laptop to work with it today for several hours but couldn't find a solution. It must be a setting in my computer. They lowered the firewall on the compuer to load the drivers but that didn't work. They checked the administrator settings. They checked to see that the MyFi was being "seen" by the computer and even were able to install it on another computer so the card is good.
