Hi Is your memory stick detected by your PSP? If not, then there something wrong with the memory. Try out to insert it to other unit to be sure it will works, if it works then the problem is in memory socket. Try to clean it by using a used toothbrush with isoprophyl alcohol, and let it dry then put it back. Hope it may helps...
hi is it just the one movie that wont play or have you tried music and game saves? a few things to check 1 is the memory card showing magic gate supported 2 check if the card shows 15.?gb with nothing on it 3 try loading the card with 15gb of music and pictures
i bought a 16gb pro duo memory card from ebay that was a 4gb card showing in the psp as 15.4gb but corrupted every thing after 4gb. if you also find that the card is only taking between 4-8gb of data contact ebay as this is likely a fake card.
Two possibilities. 1. The firmware on your PSP is too old to recognise the 8GB (only recognises up to 4GB). 2. If firmware is up to date you have a fake memory stick (easy way to check is to check the info for the memory stick on your PSP if its says that MAGIC GATE is unknown rather than supported then it is fake.
The fake ones typically double compress the data so that it appears to have 8GB when in reality it does not.
did you already formated your memort stick? try to remove your memory card from your camcorder and insert it again. look for the settings on your camcorder. it might cause the problem. hope that helps!
Try a couple of these trial downloads, to see if the pics are recoverable, but it's possible that the psp formatted it to it's own file format.
