Zanussi WJD1257W Washer/Dryer

My Zanussi washer machine has stopped working. The power light is on but it will not run any cycles. I have been told the computer is broken but I don't know what the part is to order a replacement. Could anybody advise?

If computer is broken that is your timer dial not worth fixing sometimes as much as a new washer but it could be your interlock you can test this by closing door set machine to a programme hit the front of your washer to the right of the door as you look at it if not take lid of make sure power is off look down inside the front of your machine were your door seal is attached to the outer drum were u hit the washer on the inside will be your interlock switch replace that before paying out for a timer m8 more than likely that is the problem

On/off button shows power on but Display LED is blank so cannot enter programme

if this washer has had an unbalanced load in it the vibrations may have loosened the plug for the display console should either pop out with a screwdriver or unscrew from housing to check

Machine stops half way through program

One looses touch with all the codes available, but normally if washer stops mid cycle its due to a blocked or faulty drain pump. OR incomming water is to slow or defective inlet sensor. Switch off and start from the beginning. See if you can get machine to drain by moving the timer etc. If not, rectify pump problem. Take note where in the cycle the problem arises.

I have a Hotpoint BWd129 washer/dryer. When I

I have a similar Hotpoint model to this, that does something very similar now and again, usually when trying to set a delayed start.

The only way I have found to "fix" it is to turn the machine off for at least 5 minutes, and then try again.

Hope this helps.

Is it a washer-dryer? E10 relates to a fault with the inlet valve.....usually the valve itself going open circuit.

Washer stopped working

I think your mother board has gone hence none of the other lights are coming on.
If you get the help of a competent Washing Machine engineer they will solve your problem, without having to replace the whole machine.
