I forgot to mention in my earlier post, to also check the brew head gasket, use your tool to clean the grounds out of the gasket, it can cause the filter to not seat properly.
Remove the filter, and insert the gasket cleaner tool.
Twist the tool (the cup looking thing with the phillips head attachment on it) with the notches up into the gasket, twist back and forth until you get as much grounds out as possible. Then clean the gasket with a warm wet cloth until no residue shows on your cloth. Do this cleaning every couple weeks if you use the machine a lot.
Also be sure to run a brew cycle thru an empty filter after the last use for the day. This really keeps evrything clean in your filter and shower screen.

- Sorry , my earlier post did not show up.
Too much coffee in the filter, (use 1/8 in from the top), too fine a grind (use course like grains of salt) , or a clogged filter (clean all the screens and check the filter to see if holes are clogged.)
