Freezing/resetting? my motorola slvr is only a few months old with almost no damage done to it. however i have this problem that at random times my phone's screen will turn white and the "searching for network" window will come up. after that i cannot access my phonebook/text messages or recieved/sent calls. each time this happens i have to turn my phone on and off which is extremely annoying. also my phone seems to freeze sometimes when i miss a calling. the "1-234-567-8910 calling" window just stays stuck on my screen. the accept and ignore options disappear and i cant get rid of it unless i turn my phone off. anyone noe whats going on?

Sounds like a glitch in the "flash" program on the phone. I have seen this on the L2 as well. You will have to take it into you local wireless providers store to see if they can "update the flash". Otherwise you can contact your wireless supplier (if you received the phone through them) or contact Motorola directly as they will usually overnight you a replacement. Hope that helps. Best regards, torgo

I have owned an Insignia clock radio model NS-CLVR01 for six months. Every few days the time will "freeze". I reset it and it works fine for a few days, then freezes again. Solution?

I had the same problem. Just random times of the day it would freeze. I followed every step in the manual. Did major fully day unplugged resets. Made sure the Voice Command was not on. Repeated many of these strategies in different order with advisement from Insignia tech. Problem persisted over course of a month no matter what I did. The best solution I found was battering it with my hammer until it was in 100 pieces. It doesnt freeze up anymore. My SONY alarm clock works great.

Ok I have dropped my slvr several times in water and they continued working. A few of my buttons came off and one day i got a little drop of water on my phone, and now the buttons tend to frequently freeze...

you must open your slvr then try to clean it with some PCB cleaner. try to put it back then test this will fix your problem. if still cannot you must change your Keypad board.

Keypad freeze

Did the key pad froze before you took the battery off? If so, it mean the keypad is damaged. If you have insurance, you may call customer service and have it replaced for a new one.

If it frozed after you shoot it off, you might call customer service from another phone and they might help you to unlock your phone.
