Will not play any CDs. It was working
then just stopped. Any help would be great!
If it has just stopped and still has power then it could be the motor or the laser head. If it has not been cleaned, you should do that. If it has no power then it may be the power supply inside the unit. Try another dvd if you can and see if it works and gets past where the last one stopped.

try to play a song from original cds.
maybe you brunt it in mp3 file, or its a different format. try to burn your song to cd-r.
if still, try to use nero to burner..
if it wont play your original cds and burnt cds,then the optical lens or the board is broken.

the white plastic actuator is broken, if you look at the gearbox towards the back you can see a white micrswitch actuator attached to the rod the goes from the gearbox towards the gripper arm, it has a set screw on the top, it is probably loose because the plastic broke and is free from the rod goinf through the center, this is a common failure. I repair in the Dallas Ft Worth area of Texas.

I have had a few of these come to my shop. The gears jump out of timing causing the cd lift to jam or become unalligned. The unit will probably have to be disassembled to get the CD out or have it serviced.

Hi....
Just accumulated dust can cause issues with the reader pickup
I'm not sure what T99 means but if you want to spend $35-90 to fix it,
it would be worth it.

The laser might be the culpert, be sure its clean by using a swab and a alcohol. If the laser is needed
it could cost approx $75 unless their using a Sony
which might be cheaper!
